What's being decided?

Wattle Range Council would like your input on the concept design for the upgrade of the Lions Park in Millicent.

Background

The need for an upgrade to the Lions Park in Millicent was identified in 2019.We held a fun day in the Lions Park where you told us what you would like to see in the park. The themes 'Active' and 'Nature' were very important to you.

A working group consisting of representatives of Unity Housing, Millicent Lions Club, Millicent Men's Shed, Wattle Range Council and members of the community met to discuss the project and brainstorm ideas.

All your valuable feedback has been used to create the Lions Park Upgrade Concept Design.

This consultation is now closed. Feedback was received until 5 pm on Wednesday, 25 October 2023.

Next Steps

Following community consultation a report will be brought back to Council for consideration. Once the concept design is finalised it will be used to inform a detailed design that will guide future budgets and grant applications.
