Railway Terrace Carpark - Beachport

What is being decided?

Council has received a request to allow access to load/unload commercial fishing products from the rear of the Limestone Coast Fisherman's Co-operative site, via the Railway Terrace Carpark, through the property at 3A Beach Road.

Background

At a Special Meeting of Council held on 5 September 2022, Council considered the application from MC & MK Reilly requesting authorisation to alter a public road, specifically to access the Railway Terrace Car Park from the driveway located on 3A Beach Rd, Beachport. The purpose of the proposed alteration is to enable a one-way thoroughfare to load/unload commercial fishing products at the Limestone Coast Fisherman's Co-operative site.

Note: Council has developed a plan for the future enhancement of the Railway Terrace carpark and further consultation on this exciting project is coming soon.
