Draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2025-2029
Have your say on the draft Wattle Range Council Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2025-2029.
What's being decided?
Wattle Range Council is seeking feedback on the draft Wattle Range Council Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2025-2029. The Plan outlines Council’s commitment to improving disability access and inclusion in our Council area over the next four years.
Background
The Disability Inclusion Act 2018 requires all state authorities, including Councils to have a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP).
Council co-designed its current draft plan in collaboration with the Wattle Range Council Disability Access and Inclusion Co-Design Group, who met five times between May and September 2025. The Co-Design Group reviewed community input from engagement sessions and surveys, and contributed their own ideas, all of which have shaped this draft Plan.
Council would now like to hear your thoughts on the draft.
