Calls for Expression of Interest
Wattle Range Council is looking for young people aged 12-24 who live in the Wattle Range Council area to join its Youth Advisory Council.
About you
- Be aged at least 12, and be no older than 24 at the date of submitting the EOI (Applicants over 18 must provide a working with children check)
- Live in Wattle Range Council
- Have an interest in the wellbeing of young people, youth events and activities, leadership and helping others in the community
- Can think ‘big picture’
- Young people who are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, culturally and linguistically diverse, young people living with a disability and members of the LGBTIQ+ community are encouraged to apply

What do you have to do?
- Commit to regular meetings (up to monthly) for 8 month (day of the week and time will be negotiated with the successful members)
- Be the voice of youth in your community
- Be inclusive and considerate of the needs of all young people within the community
- Be willing to be actively involved in conversations and contribute to discussions
- Be willing to assist with planning and running youth events
