Temporary Visitor Access. Southern Ports Highway reconstruction workzone

Please complete the following information to gain temporary visitor access to the Southern Ports Highway during roadworks.

Wattle Range Council is pleased to announce the reconstruction of the Southern Ports Highway between the Southend turn off and Beachport outlet. This long-awaited project will significantly improve road safety and reliability in the region. The roadworks will be completed in stages and there will be periods of full road closures.

Local residents and businesses who regularly travel between Southend and Beachport may be granted a permit and allowed access under restricted conditions (25 km/h).

Visitors needing temporary access to visit a residence or site in the reconstruction zone can apply for temporary access to the particular site.

Regular road users with a permit are recommended to download the Antenno app and add the Southern Ports Highway as a place of interest to be notified of changes to access conditions.

Further information is available at www.wattlerange.sa.gov.au.

The information sourced for this permit will be used in accordance with Council’s Online Terms of Use.
