  • Youth Week 2024

    SA Youth Week (SAYW) is South Australia’s biggest celebration of young people aged 12 to 25. 

    Wattle Range Council values your feedback as we plan for future programs and events. As a thank you for taking the time to share your ideas the first 50 responses will receive a voucher for either Flow State Surf School, Ignition Fitness or EJ Studio.

    Senior Citizens living in our community were celebrated with an exciting program of events throughout the month of October. 

    This is co-ordinated by the Wattle Range Council together with a working group of volunteers.

  • Beachport Let's Get Moving!


    Competition Details

    Track One will be launched on Thursday 6th March 2025 @ 0930am. 

    Every 250 metres you walk earns you a ticket in the prize draw! 

    The prize is a Reformer Pilates session for you and 4 friends at Studio Fourteen, Beachport!

    Enter the distance you cover each time you walk and your contact details below to claim your tickets.

    Prize will be drawn Friday April 4th, 2025, and the winner contacted by phone.

    Beachport, Let's Get Moving! ....
    Is a grass roots health & wellbeing initiative founded through the efforts of Beachport community members, local Mental Health Social Worker Linda Carter Shephard and Physiotherapist Emma Slape supported by The Beachport & Rivoli Bay Lions Club and Wattle Range Council.

    Regular physical activity is good for us, it has major benefits for health and wellbeing including reducing people’s risk of conditions such as heart disease, stroke and diabetes and improving mental health, wellbeing and quality of life. Physical activity is also good for our communities, offering social and economic benefits such as increased social connection, greater productivity and reducing social isolation.

    Always consult your treating Medical Practitioner before embarking on a new exercise regimen.
